Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!

Dear Families,

On behalf of everyone at Steve and Linda Cozine Elementary School, we are excited to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! Whether you are returning or joining our school community for the first time, we are so glad you’re here.

This school year holds so much promise. Our staff has been working with care and intention to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student can grow, explore, and shine. We believe in the power of connection and look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s learning and success.

We’re proud to continue building a strong sense of belonging through our House System, which fosters teamwork, school spirit, and positive behavior. Our commitment to early literacy remains a top priority, especially through the Read by Grade 3 Initiative, which ensures all students receive the support they need to become confident, capable readers. Instruction at Cozine is aligned with the Nevada Academic Content Standards (NVACS), guiding our efforts to provide high-quality, grade-level learning in every subject.
